The thematics of temporariness, site and time specificity, colour and light are the subject matter that my works have in common. The overall impression of the works often comes via several superimposed spatial levels representing at the same time the surrounding exhibition space, painted visuality and the dichotomous nature of pigment. In the paintings, the dichotomy of colour emerges in the way that we perceive a surface executed in a single colour as polychromous. The works are monochromatic and polychromatic at the same time. The mirror-like surface of the paintings reproduces their surroundings as part of the works, placing viewers in a situation that activates them to move about and consider the works from many different angles. The choice of the viewing angle is interaction specific to time and place.
